Who is Packd?
Packd Upfit Company is a North American manufacturer of commercial van upfit equipment with facilities in both USA and Canada. Packd was formed by a group of industry experts focused on providing service companies with better value, innovation, and simplicity when upfitting cargo vans.

Packd has been designed based on years of feedback from fleet managers, field technicians, and upfitters to address pain points commonly found with other van equipment manufacturers. Packd is durable, secure, easy to install, and simple to configure. Packd is purposefully designed to be ultra-lightweight while maximizing available space and user ergonomics.
What makes Packd shelving so lightweight?
Packd shelving has been innovatively engineered using long-standing design principles taken from other transportation and construction industries. The shelves are constructed from an aluminum extrusion front and rear which enables individual shelving units up to 8’L without compromising strength (Hint: think aluminum extension ladders here). The shelf bottoms are made of a honeycomb composite material that maintains rigidity while deadening sound (Hint: think modern aircraft interiors here). The endpanels are made of lightweight aluminum panels expertly formed for maximum strength (Hint: think aluminum body pick-up trucks here).
How much aisle space do I have after installing Packd shelving?
Thanks to an innovative design that contours perfectly to the van side walls, Packd shelving is able to maximize both shelf capacity and aisle space. Below is the typical aisle space available in common cargo van models after installing Packd shelving on both sides:
Ford Transit: Approx. 37” clear aisle space between shelving units
Mercedes Sprinter: Approx. 39” clear aisle space between shelving units
RAM ProMaster: Approx 41” clear aisle space between shelving units
What lengths is Packd shelving available in?
Packd’s unique extrusion design allows for units up to 96”L without sacrificing strength. This feature enables most van sizes to be upfitted with just (1) 84”L or 96”L shelving unit on the driver’s side wall; versus traditional steel shelving systems which typically have maximum lengths of 60”L and require two shelving units on the driver’s side wall. This design feature reduces weight, assembly time, and install time.
Both the C4 Series and C5 series shelving units are sold in 1’ increments ranging from 2’L to 8’L.
What is the weight capacity of Packd shelving?
Packd shelving is rated for up to 250lbs per shelf, and has been static load tested up to 1,200lbs per shelving unit.
What height is the lip on the shelves?
All Packd shelves come with a 2 ¾” lip front and rear, ensuring items stored on the shelves stay in place while in transit.
What is Packd’s warranty?

What accessories work with the Packd shelving?
Packd offers a wide range of storage and organize accessories to designed to work perfectly with your Packd shelving:
Shelf Dividers: Pack’d unique shelf divider design allows infinite adjustability, locks firmly into position, and is 100% rattle-free.
Bins: All Packd bins are designed to fit perfectly into Packd shelves. Each bin is 5” tall and includes a set of removable cross-dividers for increased organization. Packd bins are also designed to be stackable.
Locking Doors: Turn any shelf into a secure cabinet by adding a locking door. Doors are available in heights and lengths to fit any opening, and fasten to the shelving lip using rivets.
Hooks: Packd offers a variety of hooks, including Ladder Hooks that clip on to the front lip of the shelves, as well as Fixed and Swivel Hooks that mount to the endpanels using pre-drilled holes.
What’s the difference between steel and aluminum shelving?
Traditional steel shelving systems like Weatherguard are best suited for light duty usage and economy buyers; while products like Ranger Design that incorporate aluminum extrusion shelves are both stronger and lighter.
